The Whale Watching Tour in Panama with transportation will depart from any hotel or residence in Panama City or Casco Viejo, every Sunday from July 8th to September 16th at 5:30 a.m. Flamenco, Amador Causeway, Panama City (check-in 6am) to board the ship and set sail at 7am. A guided experience that you will never forget. You will learn about the migration and mating of humpback whales.
2-deck Motor Catamaran
Whale Watching tour in Panama offers the most comfortable (dry) sailing experience of the Pacific of Panama. On board a beautiful 2-deck motor catamaran that offers great stability over water, baths and live music. A light breakfast, lunch and soft drinks are included.
Also known as Megaptera Novaeangliae (scientific name), the Humpback Whale is familiar to Barbary Whales. Adults reach a length of 12 to 16 m (39 to 52 ft) and weigh around 36,000 kg (79,000 lb). This whale has a unique body shape, long pectoral fins and a knotty head.
This species is known for its jumps and other distinctive surface behaviors, which makes it popular with whale watchers. The males produce a complex song that lasts up to 20 minutes, repeating for hours. Its purpose is not clear, although it may have a role in mating.
